Medium Dry Harveys

Medium Dry Harveys is a fortified liqueur wine whose tradition was established back in 1940.
This medium wine is a blend of a superior amontillado with a touch of Pedro Ximénez wine.
It is a type of Sherry wine of the so-called «cabeceo wines». They are fortified liqueur wines made from a blend of fortified wines (normally an Oloroso or an Amontillado) with a naturally sweet wine such as Pedro Ximénez. There are wines in which the latter is replaced by a must with a high concentration of sugars.
Medium Dry Harveys has a beautiful amber-topaz color with hints of old gold.
On the nose it presents aromas of hazelnuts and fine wood typical of amontillados. It has notes of the raisined grape of the Pedro Ximénez wine that composes it.
In the mouth its flavor delights us. Very soft, with an elegant and persistent finish.
A wine to drink both as an aperitif, with meals or to be enjoyed on its own.
